Which data we process
On this website we only process what you give us yourself and what is technically necessary to serve the site.
- Waitlist: your name, email address, your role (tenant or landlord), and optionally your city or organisation and your message.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and timestamp, in the server logs of our hosting partner, for security and troubleshooting.
- Language preference: a functional cookie that remembers the language you want to see the site in.
- No analytics or advertising cookies, no profiling.
Why and on which legal basis
We use your waitlist details to contact you about myRentPerk, based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). We process technical logs based on our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure and available (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not sell data and do not use it for other purposes.
How long we keep data
We keep waitlist details until your request has been handled and for at most 24 months after your last contact, unless you ask us to delete them earlier. Server logs are deleted automatically by our hosting partner after a short period.
Who processes data for us
We work with a limited number of service providers, each under a data processing agreement.
- Website hosting: Vercel Inc. Our application runs in the Frankfurt region; any transfer outside the EU is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your data, and the right to withdraw your consent or object to a processing. Send your request to hello@myrentperk.com. We reply within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, www.dataprotectionauthority.be.
Changes
We update this notice when the website or our service providers change. The date at the top indicates the latest version.
